Naiad are probably best known for our
tough commercial and Coast Guard
boats, but we also produce a range of
highly-desirable boats for the leisure
market. These are aimed at the buyer
who is uncompromising in their demands
for quality, reliability, comfort
and safety.
Our recreational range goes from our
small 4.3m to 5.8m Sportline models,
through 6.8 and 7.3m Special Edition
models, right up to 10m weekender
designs.
Like all Naiads, our designs can be
customized to meet customer's exact
requirements - a feature rarely found
in boats this size. Our latest designs
draw on our experience in building
superyacht tenders, with features such
as bow boarding now available.
TENDERS
Built using high-strength aluminium and to the same exacting standards as our big commercial boats, Naiad tenders are the toughest around! Open tenders range in size from 2.5m up to 5.8m. They are ideal for safe family fun off the beach or boat ramp, and are the tender of choice of many boating clubs and launch/yacht owners.
Jet drive is available on models 4.8m and above and offer a variety of seating and console options including open boats, center console, straddle and bench seating. You'll be surprised where you see our tenders - they are used all over the world from Alaska to Antarctica!
SUPERYACHT TENDERS
Our ability to custom design successful RHIBs is attracting more superyacht interest for stylish practical tenders. These come in all shapes and sizes. Several new tenders have been delivered to various parts of the world in the past two years. One pending design is for a 60+ knots, 15 metre tender destined for the Mediterranean.
Current commissions include:
- a 10m twin diesel jet underway for an expedition style
Superyacht travelling to some of the most remote
parts of the world
- two tenders underway in New Zealand (a 10m and
6m), both for the same new 50m vessel.
- a 5.3m tender just completed for a Perini Navi ketch. This little boat has it all - diesel engine, jet drive (with gearbox), canopy, clears, teak deck, step-thru transom, and bow-boarding.
Superyacht tenders are a great way for our designers and builders to show off their creative design skills and finishing abilities.
